60 Seconds with John Ley • John Ley Pledges Lower Taxes, Safer Neighborhoods, and Parental Control

July 14, 2024by John Ley0

In a new video titled “60 Seconds with John Ley,” John Ley passionately outlines his commitment to serving the residents of Washington state. He emphasizes the importance of fiscal responsibility, questioning the value derived from the state’s expenditures. Ley pledges to combat Oregon’s tolling plans and the costly MAX light rail extension, both of which he views as burdensome to taxpayers. Advocating for parental control in education, he believes that parents know best when it comes to their children’s needs. Additionally, Ley proposes significant tax reductions, including a $250,000 tax exemption on property valuations. His vision includes enhancing community safety by empowering police to perform their duties effectively and reducing government overreach. John Ley’s mission is clear: to make Washington state a better place for its residents.

I’m John Ley, and I would like to earn your vote to represent you in our state capital, Olympia. I pledge to ask, where’s the value for all the money Washington state takes from you? I would like to continue to fight against Oregon’s outrageous tolling scheme and the tolls that are currently proposed for the Interstate Bridge Replacement program.

I want to fight against the $2 billion MAX light rail extension that’s over a quarter of the IBR budget. Southwest Washington voters have rejected light rail multiple times at the polls. I want to fight to give parents more control over their children’s education. Two people know what’s best for a child’s education: mom and dad. I would like to fight to lower your taxes.

I’d like to exclude the first $250,000 valuation from taxes. I’d like to help make your neighborhood safer. That means letting police do their jobs. And finally, I’d like to fight for less government intrusion. Let’s make Washington great again. Thank you.
